چکیده

8 (11 nepoznatog primarnog sijela nalaz negativan. 68 (57 metastazama, njih 57 (84 bile vidljive 11 (16 nisu akumulirale (38 kojima učinjen 18F-FDG PET/CT, 27 (60 detekcija metastaza bila sukladna nalazu SPECT/CT-a. Osjetljivost 77 % za lezije 84 metastaze, PET/CT-a 75 76 metastaze. Vrijednosti A pokazale statistički signifikantnu korelaciju slikovne dijagnostike. Zaključci: ima visoku osjetljivost detekciju NET-ova. Osim toga, potvrđena komplementarnost PET/CT-om negativnim nalazom treba učiniti PET/CT obrnuto.

Somatostatin receptors in gastroentero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours.

Five somatostatin receptor (sst) subtype genes, sst(1), sst(2), sst(3), sst(4) and sst(5), have been cloned and characterised. The five sst subtypes all bind natural somatostatin-14 and somatostatin-28 with high affinity. Endocrine pancreatic and endocrine digestive tract tumours also express multiple sst subtypes, but sst(2) predominance is generally found. However, there is considerable varia...

Somatostatin receptor based hybrid imaging in sarcoidosis

Several diagnostic imaging methodologies are available for the clinical evaluation of sarcoidosis, but all have their limitations. FDG PET/CT is frequently used, but this technique does not provide optimal results in all cases. Novel radiopharmaceuticals aimed at other disease targets may be helpful, particularly in cardiac sarcoidosis when FDG PET/CT has a low diagnostic accuracy, due to diffi...

Somatostatin-receptor-based imaging and therapy of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.

Somatostatin receptor imaging (SRI) with [(111)In-DTPA(0)]octreotide has proven its role in the diagnosis and staging of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEPNETs). Newer radiolabeled somatostatin analogs which can be used in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging, and which have a higher affinity for the somatostatin receptor, especially receptor subtype-2, have been developed....

Preliminary report on somatostatin receptor imaging in rare endocrine tumours.

Our preliminary experience of Somatostatin Receptor Positive Tumour Scintigraphy (SRPTS) in the management of some rare neuroendocrine tumours is highlighted. Six patients were evaluated using SRPTS. A single patient each with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, recurrent medullary carcinoma of thyroid and Stage IV neuroblastoma. Two patients with phaeochromocytoma, and one patient with suspected insul...

Somatostatin Receptor-Based Molecular Imaging and Therapy for Neuroendocrine Tumors

Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are tumors originated from neuroendocrine cells in the body. The localization and the detection of the extent of NETs are important for diagnosis and treatment, which should be individualized according to the tumor type, burden, and symptoms. Molecular imaging of NETs with high sensitivity and specificity is achieved by nuclear medicine method using single photon-em...
